Out with the family
While my family was in town, we tried to get out some with Arthur. Here is Arthur with Grandma, Dad and Uncle Jamie at the Atlanta History Center.

Uncle Ben and Aunt Sarah
We had a great time with my brousin1 Ben and his wife Sarah this weekend. The kid kept us from their wedding last month, so we were very excited that they were able to visit and meet Arthur. Sarah was great with him.
Ben took a little more convincing, but we eventually got him to hold Arthur and he was much more natural than he would like to admit. He has promised to be a corrupting influence. In the picture above, he is explaining how to throw a party when the parents are away and not get caught.
1. It's a long story, but basically brother/cousin.

Weigh in
Arthur had his 1 month visit to the doctor today. He's doing fine, and weighed in at 9lbs 2oz, up from 7lbs 15oz at 10 days old. He was in an exceptionally good mood and hardly cried at all, even when he got a shot.
For any psych geeks out there, here is Arthur doing the tonic neck reflex, also called the fencing reflex. (I took the picture for class...poor kid.)
Laying flat, head turned to one side, his arm and leg on that side extend while the arm and leg on the other side bend.

Robert Burns house
Robert Burns is a famous Scottish poet who wrote Auld Lang Syne, and My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose. Strangely enough, there is a replica of his birth cottage less than a mile from our house. We walked over there the other day, and here are a few pictures from the trip.

Afterbath
Game night
It's an innie!
The big excitement of the week is that Arthur got his belly button. Not the greatest picture, but we'll assure you that it is cute as the dickens.
