He finally noticed that we have a rabbit.  Penny is not pleased.

The return of baby blur

Grandma and grandpa used to call Arthur Baby Blur because he was just a spot on the first ultrasound.  Now our camera can't keep up with the kid - he just moves too much.  Here's a selection of recent blurs.

Arthur's been getting the hang of this tummy thing.  This past week he has been spending a lot of time on his stomach. He is working hard to push up on his arms. His mom, dad, and rabbit are thinking he is going to be moving very soon.

Japanfest

We went up to Japanfest last weekend.  It was much bigger than we expected. We got to see some archery and martial arts demonstrations as well as tour the Koi festival.  Arthur enjoyed walking around, as always.

Squash!

The books say to stick with the same food for a few days to make sure the kid can tolerate it.  But we made an executive decision to try something else.  We gave Arthur squash baby food, after 3 tries with the rice cereal.  We just couldn't take it anymore.

At first he was closing his mouth and moving away from it. Then dad tried some. Arthur thought this was hysterical. After that, he ate it right up.  He even ate his rice cereal a bit better later in the day.

Food!

The doctor gave us the ok to give Arthur some food.  We started with rice cereal. He was not a fan. Here are some pictures of the first attempt, but I don't think even these capture the trauma.

New phones

We got new fancy phones.  Here is a picture that I have been playing with on one of the apps.

4 Months

Arthur is a healthy, active and social 4-month-old according to his doctor.  He is also a string bean.  He weighed in at 13lbs, 7oz and 25.75 inches.
 


 He got two more shots.  This time his Avenger bandaid was Thor (instead of Iron Man).

A message from Arthur

Yellow Daisy festival

The boys humored me this weekend and went to a craft fair out at Stone Mountain.  It was much bigger than we thought it would be. Here are a couple pictures of the men.

Arthur inherited an activity center. He's just getting to be big enough to use it.  We'll try to get a video of him in it, but here's a picture of what he looks like hard at play.

Mail Call

Grandma and grandpa visited Lake Geneva for a wedding.  They sent Arthur a few postcards, and here he is checking them out.

Braves win!

We saw a great game on Sunday with Uncle Ben and Aunt Sarah. The Braves were down by 4 in the 9th and they came back to win it.  It's the first Braves win Arthur's seen.  He got a little bothered by the noise at the end of the game.

Inman Park

We took a tour of one of Atlanta's neighborhoods - Inman Park. We saw some pretty Victorian houses.  Of course, we don't seem to have any pictures of the houses, just the kid.
