Mirror self recognition, take one
This is the classic test of self recognition. You surreptitiously put a sticker on children's heads and let them look in the mirror. Then you see if they realize the sticker is on their own head. Do they try to take off the sticker? Do they realize the person in the mirror is them?
Well, for Arthur, not yet.
On average children do this around 18 months, so he's still on track.

Marietta
After a visit to our favorite Australian bakery, we stopped by the park and Art museum in Marietta. The park had a neat train playground set. The art museum was small, but we were the only ones there so we got to see everything.

Fort 3
Here is our final fort post from our trip. This one, Fort Clinch, was a civil war era US fort. We didn't get to go inside b/c we arrived too late. But the views of the ocean were very pretty. It also had an amazingly shelly beach.

Another Fort!
We also visited the Florida coast, which let Arthur pick up his 11th state. This is a picture from Fort Caroline which was established by the French and wiped out by the Spanish.

Fort Frederica
We got a new national park stamp on our visit to the coast at Fort Frederica on St. Simons Island. This was a British fort and town from the 1700s. There were some ruins of the original buildings on the site. Arthur was a little tired during our visit. In the bottom picture he is taking a break to play with grass.
