Fork

Arthur has been working on  eating with a fork lately. Here he is getting some watermelon.

At the Grant Park playground after work one day.  Arthur really cracked me up on this bike structure.

Zoo splashpad

This was probably one of the last days for splashing at the zoo.  Grandma even got in on the fun.

Giraffe Ride

Here is Arthur getting a ride on the carousel with grandpa.  They were first in line to make sure they got the giraffe.

Zoo train

Grandma and grandpa took Arthur on the train ride at the zoo.  Mom and dad took their pictures at a couple of the crossings.  Here they are.

Zoo day

For my birthday we went to the zoo.  It was a perfect day. We took about a zillion pictures, many of which are still to come (you've been warned).  Here are Art and Grandpa at the petting zoo and then contemplating the elephants.

Puzzling

 We did two big puzzles while grandma was here.  Here is everyone working on them.  Penny (our bunny) only got one piece of each, so we did pretty well.

Arthur and grandma spent one morning at the playground.  

Apple pie

After all that picking, we had to make good stuff with the apples.  Here was the first treat -- apple pie.

It got the Arthur seal of approval.

Haystack

They had a petting zoo at the apple farm, and Arthur had fun playing in the great big haystack in the middle of it.  We really liked these pictures, so here are a few.

There is a small apple country up in the hills here in GA. Here are pictures of our visit to a farm for some picking.  It took Arthur a little while, but toward the end of the day he really caught on.

Grandma and cousin Kathy were recently on the lookout for wild hogs (or something).  Here is grandma and Art with the hog at the fest.

Fall Folklife with Grandma

Grandma came to visit last week while Grandpa was off golfing.  These are pictures from her first weekend here when we went to the Atlanta History Center's Fall Folklife Festival.

Tablet fun

Over the last few weeks Arthur has gotten interested in our tablet.  Here he is playing a press the animal game during snack time. He is getting very good at this one, but his favorite is Goodnight Moon, which we save to get him to go up to bed.
