Disney arrival

We had a great day visiting the Magic Kingdom.  Here are some pictures from early in our arrival. We are all on the tram, then watching a parade and finally after eating lunch.

These are pictures from out back of the museum. They had a short walking trail and several historic buildings.  Arthur walked up and down the stairs and across the porch of the one house about a million times.

Funk Heritage Center

This is a museum along the Trail of Tears that we went to a few weeks ago. It was a small, but very nice museum with pretty grounds and old buildings out back. These are pictures from the museum.

Touch a Truck

A few weekends ago we visited downtown Decatur. They organized an event where children could check out a bunch of their city vehicles.  Here is Arthur touching a few trucks.

A few more from the National Monument.  This is the same culture that built the mounds in Southern Illinois and all around the Mississippi.  The site in GA is not as big as the one in IL, but it was still impressive.

Ocmulgee National Monument

This is a site of Native American mounds in middle Georgia.  Here is Arthur checking out the museum and then  at the flagpole out front of the visitor's center.

Of course, no visit is complete without a good old Dinosaur Stomp.  

Fernbank Museum

We also visited the Fernbank Museum while Grandma and Grandpa were here. We got to see the whale  exhibit and then spent time in the kids area upstairs.

Lab visit

Arthur went to school with me to help get some photos of a kid playing in the lab.  Here he is trying out one of the toys we have there.

The Tee

We have had some really nice weekends.  Here is one day we  spent playing a little tee ball out in the backyard.  Arthur  was a bit more of a pool player than a baseball player with it.  He wanted to poke the ball off with the end of the bat.
