Weigh in

Arthur had his 1 month visit to the doctor today.  He's doing fine, and weighed in at 9lbs 2oz, up from 7lbs 15oz at 10 days old.  He was in an exceptionally good mood and hardly cried at all, even when he got a shot.

Laying flat, head turned to one side, his arm and leg on that side extend while the arm and leg on the other side bend.

Robert Burns house

Robert Burns is a famous Scottish poet who wrote Auld Lang Syne, and My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose.  Strangely enough, there is a replica of his birth cottage less than a mile from our house.  We walked over there the other day, and here are a few pictures from the trip.

We would love to show you pictures of Arthur's first few baths, but the events are too traumatic.  He is not a fan.  So here is a much calmer picture of the end result.

Game night

Saturday we went over to Scott and Saori's for game night.  Arthur was on Daddy's team and won Settlers of Catan.

The big excitement of the week is that Arthur got his belly button.  Not the greatest picture, but we'll assure you that it is cute as the dickens.
