Goodbye to gramma and grampa

On Thursday the family headed south to Jarrell Plantation State Historic site.  Arthur is great in the car, so it has been easy to get out.  He did well in the stroller until the trails got too bumpy and he preferred to be carried.

Eating out

Arthur joined us for lunch on Monday. It was his first trip to a restaurant. We went to Doc Chey's noodle house. Arthur was a perfect gentleman. He was awake and sociable for a while, but he was out by the time we took the picture.

Doctor's visit

  Arthur visited the doctor on Tuesday. He has grown an inch and he is back above his birth weight: 21 3/4 inches, 7lbs 15oz.

Meeting Grampa

Grampa arrived on Sunday and Arthur has been having all kinds of manly fun with him; they talk about fishing and they take naps together.

Outing - zoo

On Thursday, Arthur slept through his outing to the park.  Friday, Arthur slept through his first trip to the zoo.  We got to try out his styling stroller (thanks Sandy & Ken!)

Arthur and his entourage walked to the park today.  He and dad got to try out the baby björn (thanks Seyda & Brad!). It didn't look comfortable, but Arthur slept the whole time.
