On Saturday night we took Arthur to his very first baseball game.  We saw the Gwinnett Braves take on the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre Yankees.  The weather was a bit rainy at first, but it cleared up nicely.

Here is Arthur having a snack during the game.

He fussed a couple times, but overall he did really well.

He was up and alert for most of the game, but dozed off at the end.

Last week, my Aunt Becky visited us and met Arthur for the first time.

But somehow the feet always sneak out.

Two Months

Arthur went in for his two-month checkup.  He is healthy and is now 23" tall and 10 lb. 12 oz.  He was in a great mood at the doctor's office until the shots came.

The experience was very traumatic for him and his parents, but he is a tough little guy and is doing fine now.

Anne Frank Exhibit

Sandy Springs, a suburb of (or part of?) Atlanta, has nice exhibit on the life of Anne Frank.  We visited on Saturday.

We had to take a bottle break in the middle, but Arthur made it through without too much trouble.

Bork, bork, bork!

This weekend mom needed to get out of the house, so we took a little trip to IKEA where we could walk around in air-conditioning.  So, we put our barn in the Björn and checked out the Jokkmokk tables, the Poäng chairs and the Härnösand sofas.

Dad wondered if they would sell the Latvian children's books they have as shelf filler in the kid's section. 

We realized how big Arthur is getting. Compare this picture to how he fit in the carrier in this old post.

Arthur Joel is upset that A. J. Pierzynski wasn't elected to the all stars, but he's still  ready to watch the game.

It's Independence Day!

Here are selections from Arthur's first 4th of July. We went to see fireworks in downtown Decatur.  He did pretty well  - no crying until the ride home.

Trip to Tellus

We had originally intended to go up to Chattanooga yesterday, but half way there we decided it would be too much and stopped at the Tellus Science Museum. We were pleasantly surprised.
